Q. I have read all of your information and you certainly sound legitimate and environmentally conscious. However, the act of mailing my gold does make me feel uneasy. I suppose that I’m more comfortable with a one-on-one situation. Do you appraise the jewelry and then inform the seller of the value? Or, once received, is it yours to appraise and then keep or sell? What tangible guarantee do your offer the seller?
A. We appraise the items, give you a value, then you have 10 days to let us know if you want to sell. If you don’t want to sell the items, then we will return them to you postage paid.
Q. How can I tell if something I might send you is not real gold? Do you send things back if they are not what you want?
We buy a whole range of items (other than gold) including Platinum, precious jewelry and silver. If your item is something we wont buy, then either we can return it to you (postage paid) or dispose of the items in question. It all depends what it is.
I am thinking about sending some jewelry for cash to you, but I feel very unsure about your statement that “Everything is insured. Everything is easy. Everything is guaranteed.”
How does your company insure jewelery they have not seen, if it is stolen or lost in the mail en route to you? Should I send it “certified mail”?

No where do I see HOW MUCH you pay for 14k, 18k, 24k gold (per gram wt.) Why is this? I would insist on knowing this before sending any of my items to you or anyone else!
The amount we pay for Gold changes so often and is dependent o so many factors we don’t like to publish a pay-scale (we did try it, but we believe it is misleading). Many gold buyers will publish prices for extremely large amounts of gold (that they know most people wont have) i order to make you believe you are going to get paid more than you actually do. We also take into account precious stones, gems, diamonds and whether the items you send are considered “fine” (quality jewelry for example) or “scrap” (broken pieces).
Thats why we appraise your items & not just weigh them at the lowest value, getting you the best price. Use our guarantee and we will pay all expenses if you don’t like our offer.
