We spend a lot of time looking at gold jewelry, not to mention we get some pretty crazy things from our customers so it is hard to shock us in the freaky jewelry department.

That said, Mother’s Day is on the way and we are doing our research, here are a few items we have stumbled upon in our search that made even us do a double take.

The purpose of this particular piece is absolutely lost on us and there is very little information about it on the website to help us understand.

We like frogs, but not quite enough to put one in our pocket, gold or otherwise.

In fact, all it took was one look to blow our gaudy-meter to smithereens, which is sad because that gaudy-meter was hard to find.

Although we want to hate this jewelry, there is something oddly fascinating about it, and it has nothing to do with wanting to see under Barbie’s shirt when we were kids.
